Q – Do we need to change our phone numbers or have a new phone line installed to take advantage of the Beanstalk service?
A – No we use your existing line and phone number, but we transfer it from your company name to Beanstalk so we can pass on the benefits of our buying power on to you !

Q – How long will it take to transfer the phone line and service to Beanstalk?
A – The transfer can usually be completed within 10 to 14 days, after that you just sit back and enjoy all the cost benefits !

Q – Surely we will be receiving lots of different bills from you and BT for our phone lines?
A – Once the transfer to Beanstalk Telecom is agreed and completed you will only receive one invoice and that will be from us.

Q – Who do we call if one of our lines goes faulty?
A – Your contact is with Beanstalk Telecom, so you contact us, then we contact BT to ensure your line is checked and repaired in a timely manner.

Q – What is CPS?
A – Carrier Pre-Selection is the quick and easy method of diverting all your outbound calls to another provider. All your calls will be automatically diverted in the BT exchange to Beanstalk Telecom in order that you gain the financial savings.

Q – We make lots of calls to other countries, can you give us better rates that we get now?
A – We can provide you with excellent rates to all overseas destinations!

Q - What are non-geographic numbers (NGN)?
A – Non Geographic Numbers are numbers that do not relate to a particular geographical location, like normal telephone numbers do. An NGN does not replace your existing telephone number but allows your business to offer your customers a more financially attractive method of connection, and a single UK number for all your locations if required.

Q – Are there different types of NGN?
A - Beanstalk Telecom can provide you with all types of NGN listed below.
0800 - Caller pays nothing, number holder pays full cost of the call
0845 - Caller pays local rate, number holder pays the difference
0870/0871 - Caller pays national rate, number holder pays nothing
0906 - Caller pays special tariff, number holder receives outpayment.

Q - I already use 0800, 0845, 0870, 0906 numbers what can you do for me?
A - If you are currently a BT customer then we can offer you big savings on these services, once they have been “ported” to Beanstalk Telecom.
