Through our relationship with BT Wholesale,
Beanstalk Telecom is able to offer the transfer or new provision of both analogue,
or digital exchange line services at very attractive prices.

NB ISDN 30 DASS is only available for transfer and not new supply.
By transferring, upgrading or taking out new supply of any of these services,
our customers can guarantee excellent savings against BT’s standard
pricing. If you are concerned that you will be losing the support of BT by
transferring services to Beanstalk, we would like to reassure you that your
concerns have no foundation.
The principle difference is that Beanstalk becomes your primary point of contact
for all enquiries and fault reporting. We will then manage the interface into
BT where we back this off to the BT engineers who will be responsible for
repairing the fault as has always been the case in the past.
Calling Line Identity
Presentation (CLIP)
Lets you see the number of the person calling before you pick up the
phone, enabling you to greet people
in an appropriate manner.
Calling Line Identity
Restriction (CLIR)
This prevents your directory number from being released at any
time. It is useful if you don't want people
to call you back, i.e. if are running an outbound telemarketing campaign.
Presentation Number
- Calling Line Identity
Presentation Number (PN) allows you to specify a telephone number for
your Calling Line Identity (CLI) for outgoing calls, which may be different
to your usual telephone number.
Connected Line Identity
Presentation (COLP)
Allows you to see the number of the line that you have been connected
to.
Connected Line Identity
Restriction (COLR)
Restricts the access of incoming callers to your identity
Maintenance
Cover
Please also be assured that Beanstalk Telecom offers the same maintenance
cover you have enjoyed with BT. The various options are explained below:-
Standard Care Maintenance
Operates during working hours (0800 - 1700 hrs Monday to Friday,
excluding Bank and Public Holidays). Beanstalk, via BT aim to respond to a
fault report received before 1700 hrs on one working day by the end of the
next working day. Work will be carried out only during working hours.
Prompt Care Maintenance
Operates during the period 0800 - 1700 hrs Monday to Saturday, excluding
Bank and Public Holidays. Under our terms with BT Wholesale BT will respond
within 4 working hours of receipt of a fault report. If the fault is not cleared
during this period, Beanstalk will advise the customer of the progress being
made to clear the fault via the contact.
Total Care Maintenance
Operates 24 Hours per day, 7 days a week including Bank and Public
Holidays. Under our terms with BT Wholesale BT will respond within 4 hours
of receipt of a fault report but this does not apply to faults which do not
immediately affect the use of equipment by the customer. If the fault is not
cleared during this period, Beanstalk will advise the customer of progress
being made to clear the fault via the contact.
